FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions for Weathered Woodworking

I want to answer your questions quickly but because we're a small business sometimes it can take 24 hours.  This is where you will find the answers to your questions.  So as much as I love to talk to my customers, if you have questions please see if you can find the answer your looking for right here. I can save us both time.

General Questions

How can I contact Weathered Woodworking?

There are several ways you can contact us but our prefered method is always email. If you'd like you can contact us by any method below but please be patient. We will contact you within one business day.

What are your hours?

Monday through Friday: 9AM - 6PM.
Saturday: 9AM to 2PM

Can I re-order something I purchased previously?

 Absolutely, we usually keep artwork for 90 days.  However, it's best to contact us so we can check our records before you purchase.  

 

I'm ordering a gift. How can I assure it will arrive on time?

We try to get all orders out within 72 hours of receiving them.  However, communication is the best policy.  Please contact us at Support@WeatheredWoodworking.com to see if we are short on any materials or if we are having longer than normal wait times for products being shipped. 

As we get close to the holidays, wait times might be longer.  One thing we can promise is honesty.  I'd rather be honest and see you get exactly what you need than lose a customer.  If it's possible, I want to find a way to get it to you. 



Do you accept orders for completely unique custom products?

 Yes!  When we are able.  We love a challenge.  The best policy is communication.  Let's start with a call/email request on our contact page.  If you just want to text a brief question, you can always contact us by text at 903-392-6929.  Please be patient and we'll get back to you within 24 hours.

How do I leave a testimonial?

Thank you so much for thinking of us.  You can leave a testimonial at Testimonial@Weatheredwoodworking.com.  If you would please read the guidelines below.

  • Your name (This will be public, so just your first name is fine.) 
  • What you purchased
  • Photos, photos, photos!!!!  We need photos.  Photos with our customers are the best.  We'll take what we get but we want it to be personal. 
  • Why you love it! 
  • Staff - If you spoke to me or my wife (my staff) and you really enjoyed the communication, please shout us out too.  Anything helps! 
  • Stories.  We're all about our stories.  Please if you gave a gift or you have a cool story to tell as to why you got someone that gift... please share.  
  • PERMISSION:  This is the most important part.  Please send a quick line that says "you have permission to post all of the information included in this testimonial on your website."  

 

Purchase & Payment Questions

What types of payment do you accept?

Online:  We use Shopify as our payment gateway.  

We can accept

  • Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, Venmo, and Apple Pay.    
  • We will only take cash on face to face transactions.   

Can I send cash by mail?

No.  Cash by mail is never a good idea.  It can be lost or even destroyed.  We will not be responsible for lost cash or cash that never arrived at our office.  There's really no way to track it.  

 

When I order, how long does it take for you to begin creating my item?

Warning:  Wait times will change during holidays.  There may also be times when the work load is much larger and wait times can be longer.  We don't guarantee wait times but we try to follow our code below.  

We try to have items shipped within 72 hours of you placing your order on most goods.  That does not include larger items like small furniture, tables, book shelves, end tables, coffee tables, cornhole boards all of those are local pickup at the moment or delivery is within 10 miles.  

Custom items typically take a little longer as well.  I still try to get items shipped within 72 hours but it depends on the project.  Remember our work is custom so naturally, it takes a little longer to produce.     

If you want a custom item and you would like it quickly, the key is communication.  Give me your phone number, email, or tell me to text you.  Respond quickly when you can and I'll do the same.  There really is no guarantee on when you can receive an item.   See the description on each item for a better idea of each wait time. 

 

 

Shipping Questions

What should I do if I never receive my order?

We have mapped out all of our procedures on our refunds and return policy.  Please click here!

I received a damaged package, what should I do?

Unfortunately we cannot be responsible for packages that are damaged by the shipping company.  You will need to contact them.  

We always suggest two things.  Take photos immediately and contact us immediately after the photos.   Take photos before you even open the package.  We need proof of damage to show the shipper.  Then contact us at Support@WeatheredWoodworking.com, text or call me at 903-392-6929.  

Do you ship outside the US?

NO.  Currently we ship to United States addresses within the continental US only.  We DO NOT ship outside of the United States.

Refund and Return Questions

How do I request a refund?

First let me say that we always want our customers to be happy with their experience.  Every situation is different and we want to help you the best we can.

  • As for now, we only do refunds under extenuating circumstances.  Remember most of this is custom-made.  
  • If you have an unusual circumstance, give us a call.  

 

My package was damaged, what should I do now?

Always take photos before you do anything and then contact the shipping company.  We are not responsible for packages damaged by the shipping company.  However, it's always best to contact us immediatly.  At times we can help with the process.
